A group of characters developed within the setting of the SCP Foundation, for a set of stories that never ended up materializing. They consist primarily of the staff of the Para-Computational Studies Division, based out of Site-267 in the (real) ghost town of Paradise, Kentucky.
Born in Stavanger, 1991. Graduated with a double major in linguistics and computer science from the University of Oslo in 2012, and hired by the Foundation in 2019. Speaks 6 languages. Despite having the external appearance of a wunderkind, he is badly stressed and behaves poorly under pressure. He is highly optimistic, which leads him to believe that everything will be all right in the end, "even though, at least for him, it most certainly won't" - quote from my old notes; I have no idea what that means now
Born in Chicago, 1987. A tall man with dark hair and a determined expression. Blessed with a strong moral compass, he nearly went into politics, before ending up in neurology. In 2016, at the age of 29, tried to restructure his own brain and, despite nearly dying in the process, almost completely succeeded; he was scouted by the Foundation while recovering. Has fairly low self-esteem coupled with a strong belief in self-improvement. He dances "like he's having some kind of seizure" and has odd tastes in food.
Born in Florissant, 1992. Due to cumulative expose to anomalies, they experience a slow but constant drift in physical appearance. My old notes call them "deeply agnostic on matters of gender" which could mean nothing
An aging Polish architect, who, in the late 1960's, was commissioned by god to design a new universe. There wasn't much more to his story beyond that, other than a vague sense that he never ended up finishing his new creation for some internal reason (something like "if you're out of ideas, you're out of ideas; new tools won't help with that")
Born Fort Royal, 1928. In 1977, he was working for the Foundation, and became one of the first people to recognize the importance of the Paradise Oracle. He ultimately fell victim to the lure of absolute truth, was discharged, and lived in a mental hospital until his death there in 1986.
